Tab Builder App Reviews

Bonne appli

Il prendre le temps de la prendre en main cest vrai, une fois fait ça fait des tablatures claires et exportables très facilement Une mise a jour pour indique un capodastre serait utile :) You have to take your time to lean how this app work, but it worths it. Once learned, its really clear and you can share very easily. An update to be able to put a capo would be appreciated :) And make the numbers being closer when linked with a sign (Or example 3 0p3 and not 3 0 p 3), it would be cool I think :3 And Auto save please x) Finally, there are some things to change, when we change a chord (for example G 320003 to G 320033), it doesnt affect the button in the tab builder, it will still be the original "G" (Sorry for all the edits)

Perfekt!!!

It does what it says it does! I looked for something to build tabs with my iphone and found this app! Thanks!! Keep it on!!

Great App.

Great App! But it would be Even better if i could Write my Text under the Tabs Thumbs up!

Great program!

Can easyly save my ideas for Songs and Finger exercises.

When you do this you get 5 stars

Please touching up to listen to the tabs!!! Or else the app isnt convenient!

Nice, but...

... a lot of symbols missing. Using the app ist is just possible to mark the strings. Symbols for a strum direction, repeats, devidere, and so on are missing. You should add all the symbols a guitarist needs! By the way: once you inserted a whole new line, it is not possible to remove it. So you have to enter all the entered figures in a new file. So I can resume: horrible and not worth any penny!

Omg this is exactly what I have been looking for for so long!!!

Thank you so much for making this Ap!! it is exactly what I have been looking for for months. It is so super simple to enter masive amounts of information quickly. You can set up nifty quick keys for custom chords, and there are keys for quickly entering a picking pattern. Super quick. Support this ap I am excited to see where it goes!

Awesome!

Ive been looking for an app like this, and this is the first one that Ive found on the iOS AppStore. The whole app is really easy to use and is a great way to keep/write your ideas. 10/10 for sure!

Good app

I like this app quite abit, the tab is easy to read and its good for remebering rifts you make, but i think it needs a bass tab version, i play bass mostly and to be able to place 2 or more notes on the same area without haveing to make a new chord, but all in all its a very well done app

This is crap!!!

I cant believe I wasted money on this it does not work I cant write anything with a capo, or put in tabs individually I have to have a chord first and than can only put individual tabs of the notes in this chords essentially if this app got rid of that it would be great otherwise not worth it!!!

Needs a bass option

I use this for bass tabs. It works but it would be awesome if there was a layout with just the four strings

Exactly what I needed!!!

Why theres a star missing in my rating? Theres no export feature!!! Best of the best would be to be able to export in a Guitar Pro or Powertab format. But at this point right now of this app, just a PDF format with a nice layout with my title at the top would make me happy! Also, could be nice to be able to change the color layout. To the developer, please continue working on this project because you are the less expensive in this market. I will definitely recommend this app to my fellow musician.

Not for me

Its a hassle to choose individual frets, if you play chords its dec but otherwise a waste, id save the the couple $$ and use pen nd paper

DISAPPOINTING

I simply wanted to make an easy tab to teach "O Canada" to a beginner. Theres no help button or instructions and its not as user friendly as it claims to be. Also it seems limited to chords only - theres no guidance or explanation on how to add or edit pre-existing chords - I tried to add a Bb Major chord And now I cant access the original chords!! Frustrating.

Very good however...

I bought this on the praise it received. The one bad review talking about how you have to enter chords before you can put single notes is mostly right. This makes this app more accustomed to people who play acoustic, focus on chord music and picking (bar)chords instead of power chords and heavy riffs. It is possible but then youd have to go program all the power chords which is a single shape in multiple positions. Will take a couple of minutes before youre notating. That said the entry method is really REALLY fast. So easy to create a bar of many notes in literally seconds. The only thing I cant figure out is why the only preset is G major. Im sorry, I know the app is a dollar. In all keys in major and minor there should be 14 sets of 7 chords. Theres only 1. Thats 13 keys you get to program yourself, and this doesnt address sharps or flats either, This also doesnt address various modes, 7th chords or diminished chords either. I didnt see any in the preset but you can create them yourself if you know your chords. It almost needs a chord chart you can pick chords from as all you get is 7 chords when you buy it. I know my chords, I just dont want to have to plug them all in before tabbing a song, and some riffs are scale based not chord based which makes this challenging, to tab out anything not played in chords. So I see what he is saying. If I want to write a song in anything but G major I have to enter all 7 chords of that key and not enough chord buttons for variations like sus2 or 7th. Like I said I know the app is a $1 but it seems lazy to give people G Major and after that its program the chord charts yourself. Its an amazing app and once you have the chords, strumming or picking notes goes soooooo fast. But if you really really want to wow people include the other 13 keys someone can play in. There has to be some music logic you can program in to just transpose your G major to A major etc. then do a minor set, and transpose those, Any lazy person is just going to write in G major for the rest of their lives. Also the ability to put in lyrics would be fabulous, but I realize its a tab app. I guess what Im saying is the app makes you do most of the work. There is one preset key, and the notes for those chords in G major is all you have to work with unless you start plugging in the chords yourself, which is time consuming. If you have a riff where the note goes half step up, you waste a chord slot just to include that note. Needs some work, still definitely worth a buck. Great app, but it needs more versatility key wise without making the paying customer program half the app.

Not too bad!

A great app to write songs with! Just one little thing what was it... Oh yeah, HOW DO YOU ADD F-ING LYRICS!! Its a freaking mystery I have tried everything!!

Keeps crashing

This is a great app for creating my own tabs... When it works. I keep losing my work when it crashes when editing my tabs. Please fix and I will rate 5 stars.

Exactly what I was looking for!

Thank you for this wonderful app. I had a hard time going through all the tablature apps to find one where I could actually edit the notes in. There only seems to be music catalog apps with songs that exist already. While Im here though, Id like to make a suggestion? To add the possibility of identifying the strings in case of alternate tunings (for example, Id like to be able to identify the G string as F#, but the ability to edit this info in yourself would be great! Again thank you for this great app! Good job. Easy to understand as well!

Awesome App

This App is great, really makes creating tablature of my bands songs amazingly easy! One thing I would like to see a suggested another comment is the ability to change the string tuning for example from standard "EADGBe" tuning to a Drop D "DADGBe" or a total half step "d#g#c#f#a#d#"... Also maybe an option to copy and paste a measure. As in many cases of music the same riff or mass of notes are repeated during a verse or chorus. The ability to copy a measure into a second measure would be a great future. Or at least the ability to put x2 in the top corner of that measure to indicate that it is played two times through. Great job thanks for the app hope to see some updates soon.

Poor functionality

No playback, awkward way to add notes. Useless if you want to write down some complicated riffs.
